A growing movement that experts believe could end up in the criminalization of Christianity in the United States is being exposed in a new documentary being prepared for airing on October 26, officials at Coral Ridge Ministries have announced.
"Hate Crime Laws" is a half-hour exposé that shows how Christians in America, Canada, Australia, and Sweden have been arrested and prosecuted for expressing opinions that are rooted in the Bible regarding homosexual conduct, Islam or other topics about which Scriptures express clear teachings.
"On the surface, hate crime laws might sound like a good idea," said Jerry Newcombe, of Coral Ridge, who hosts the special. "After all, none of us advocates hatred or violence against another person. But if you look below the surface, suddenly you realize that these laws are really thought crime laws."

Persecution might be coming but I do know we serve a God who meets our every need especially in times of difficulting.
Some gashead in my neighborhood with the obligatory Got Hope? and Obama ‘08 stickers on their car also had one with this pithy sentence: “When fascism comes to America it will he wrapped in the flag and holding the cross.” How vicious and insulting. I would like to see a sticker saying “Fascism is coming to America using the words hope and change.” But any car with that on it would probably be firebombed.
Yes, and , if elected, he would start with the Fairness Doctrine to silence the opposition.
With the onslaught attacks of Joe the plumber, ppl should see how violent the left becomes over questioning. They are rabid.
Notice ...they never address the issues, but attack and demonize any opposing viewpoint.

Yes, he is opposed to the so called Fairness Doctrine...and I think the name is misleading....it is a violation of the First Amendment:

It has started already without the benefit of amending the constitution. Just label it a hate-crime to get around it. I don't believe any cases have gone as far as SCOTUS yet, but since there is so much legislation from the bench, it is just a matter of time before it happens. A case in point is the Philadelphia Five who were arrested, Bibles in hand, to protest the gay-rights parade.

As a Christian, I fully believe that persecution is coming to the United States for proclaiming the name of Christ. Western believers, myself included, fail to remember that Christians are already persecuted in most parts of the world. I take comfort in knowing that my God has all things under His control and that when the persecution does come, I am in His flock.
Hating is not a crime. If someone hates people because of their race or any other reason that is their right. However they are NOT ALLOWED to act on their hate through violence or violate the rights of those they hate.
It’s still a free country (for now).
