Sunday's gathering at Memorial Park in Cupertino was part pep rally, part church service and part fundraiser. Members of several dozen churches from throughout the Bay Area attended. Organizers sold red Proposition 8 T-shirts for $5 and set up donation boxes.
Singing Christian worship songs, many in the largely Asian crowd said that a marriage between a man and a woman is the foundation of traditional Asian societies. Others recited Bible verses and said religion was the driver of their views.

San Francisco resident Bruce Budnick was handing out a two-page pamphlet at Sunday's rally that stated in all capital red letters, "Stop indoctrinating grade school children about adult sexual politics."
Budnick said a decade ago, when he had children in grade school, there were attempts to educate his kids about AIDS and sexual acts.

Thanks for the report & the pictures. I know down here in So. Orange County, we rarely ever see a “No on 8” sign/bumper sticker. Conversely, we see quite a number of “Yes” stuff around the area :o).
