Some sweet news for Republican presidential candidate John McCain's campaign, so far he's winning the national jelly bean vote. "Fork Over Your Vote" is a national project where people can choose who they think should be the next president by tossing a jelly bean into a jar.

How accurate has the ‘Jelly Bean Poll’ been?

That’s because if you throw a black jelly bean into a jar, people will say that you’re a racist.

It was correct in 2004. Furthermore, it shows McCain up 53.5 to 46.5; this sounds reasonable. It is based on over 200,000 beans.

I wonder who would be “winning” if they used acorns instead?!

If you are a “dieter”, not very accurate. I couldn’t find anything other than it was one of those “silly polls.”

Dieters still go out to eat. 200,000 beans is better than the few hundred that the pollsters use.

I have a feeling that this one is more accurate than Rasmussen and other polls.

This one doesn’t have the ACORN factor in it.

If they used acorns, you’d probably see prefilled jars being rolled off trucks, with millions of “votes” for Obama.

I always come up with 51/47 whenever I see one of these
B.S. polls and I re-weight them giving dems just a 4 point
advatage in party turnout instead of the crazy numbers currently being used by pollsters.
