(CNSNews.com) The Association for Community Reform Now (ACORN) submitted nearly 90,000 voter registration applications to the registrars office in Clark County, Nev., this year, among which were thousands and thousands and thousands of phony and duplicate applications that ACORN did not mark as suspicious, Larry Lomax, Clark Country registrar of voters, told CNSNews.com.
Matthew Henderson, ACORNs regional director for Southwest Nevada, however, said that a few duplicate and falsified forms may have slipped through ACORNs vetting. But the group turned in between 3,000 and 4,000 tagged registration forms, Henderson said, and there is little evidence to support Lomaxs allegations that they missed thousands.
On Oct. 7, an ACORN office in Las Vegas, Nev., was raided by local police after Colin Haynes, a criminal investigator for the Nevada Secretary of State Securities Division, submitted an affidavit to a judge requesting a search warrant.
He alleged in the affidavit that employees of ACORN, while employed to solicit members of the public to complete Voter Registration Applications, have themselves completed forms using fictitious and false information.
As the affidavit reads: The investigation started on July 2, 2008 when Larry Lomax, Clark County Registrar of Voters, reported to the division that his office had received a significant number of suspicious Voter Registration Application Forms from ACORN.

So what can we do? other than wring our hands in despair? ;) I’ve been disenfranchised.
Close them down.....now. All should be checked. If they can’t do that....postpone the election until it’s done.
I’d make sure and vote first.. then make sure ya got a survival cache stocked and stashed away. (just kidding..I hope)
Well, since so many of the submissions have been identified as fraudulent, I can only assume they are being discarded as the trash they are. So is this actually good news that because of GOP efforts, Bambi won’t be able to steal these states where ACORN efforts are being examined??
FBI is investigating them..all we can do is wait, and keep watching them.
My guess is that they’ll never be shut down OR prosecuted. Not as long as they’re tied to the black voter.
I’m all for throwing out anything that came from ACORN. If it is that important for these folks to vote, I would be willing to allow voters to same day register with two proofs of address and legal residency (ssn card, utility bills in their name at that address and maybe a bank statement). Then we allow them to vote and dip their thumbs in indelible purple ink.
A valid Picture Id DL/Passport, Etc. will kill ALL ACORN fraud.
They can register everybody in the world but you got have ID to vote.
We need our government to stop giving OUR tax dollars to this corrupt outfit!
The democrats have learned well, over the past few decades:
if criticized, hollar racism, and the critics will slink away with their tails between their legs.
My picture ID shows my prior address. Don't have to update it anywhere except with the DMV. It will be updated when I have to renew my license. In this case, I think proof of residency (bank statements, utility bills with current address, etc. plus picture ID can be used).
Memo to the FBI; roll over and go back to sleep.
So these are the ones they caught. How many slipped through, and are now usuable by the Democrat fraud machine?
No problem. They can all vote. See Ohio.
FBI Director Mueller.. Paging FBI Director Mueller.. Mukasey, Line 3
I know the FBI is really busy and stretched as thin as Joan Rivers face,, but..
Maybe bringing back some retirees or sumthin’ ..
I know good agents don’t just fall off of trees.. and now we have the financial mess eating up your investigative resources as well, but .. this could use a bit more looking into, don’tcha think?
