As I understand it the conservative north part of the state offsets the liberal south, and it’s central Flordia that makes the difference. So McCain or Palin needs to make a few more visits.
Well Southeast Florida is the Communist side but Southwest Florida is still American. All the suburbs in Central Florida are still holding the line. But Obama will try to scare all the old folks about Social Security. It will be REAL close. The main attack is coming from the South as more liberals spead up the coast to get away from the results of their policies. Also liberals ie “useful idiots” are invading from Northern states they have already destroyed.
We are not that liberal in the 3 big S FL counties. Dade will usually go 50/50. Broward 60/40 Dem and Palm Beach maybe 60/40 to Dems. Broward and Palm Beach have a lot of Jewish voters who went 77% Kerry but they are expecting Obama to only get 57%. I think Obama will do worse than Kerry in these 3 big counties.
McCain will get more blue dog Dems in the north. If Obama is drawing puny crowds in Tampa then we carry the swing I-4 corridor.
Obama is resorting to Mediscare.
