Sarah Palin will be in Raleigh Saturday night.

The Republican vice presidential candidate will hold an hourlong event in the capital city, according to Sen. Richard Burr. It will likely be the last event of the presidential campaign in North Carolina.

Details on the event are not yet available.

This was confirmed on WPTF radio. Time is not set, but may be 6:30 or 7 at the state fair grounds.

I will be there to see the first female VP in U.S. history.

Get there early, when she came through Asheville, people lined up 4 hours before she was to speak, then she was late by an hour and even then the overflow capacity was all used.

9 thousand at least came to tiny Asheville to see Gov Palin speak.

Sure would like to know McCain internals. Seems like he is putting all his eggs in Penn, I don’t see him winning that State. Is there no plan B?. That has to be Bush’s 2000 inside straight, but without any one of VA, CO, NV, NM we lose.
