Agreed, for the most part with that list.
But I doubt this guy is in line with those solid conservative gripes.
I think he is “disgusted” with President Bush from the usual Leftist crapspective: the war for oil, torture, the rights of Guantanamo prisoners, gay marriage, etc.
And therein lies my original complaint.
Excuse me for not being excited by this endorsement, as I think he views McCain, perhaps rightly, as even more “moderate” than George Bush.
I don’t think it’s going to push Mac over the edge either. That’s Governor Palin’s job.
I’ll take the endorsement from someone who actually creates something (i.e. a musician, etc.) over an actor/actress anytime!
The guy sounds pretty down the line conservative/ libertarian... doesn’t sound like hes thinking McCains more moderate...also i don’t hear any leftist arguments in any of the post, what makes you think this? simply because he runs a punk rock label?
I’m a conservative and I too am disgusted by some of the things Bush has done. I am vehemently opposed to the bailout and I do not like how expansive government has become under the Bush administration. I think Iraq will ultimately prove to be successful but they were unrealistic in the beginning about what it would take to “win” this war. Remember, McCain had to convince Bush that a surge was needed and would work. I credit him for keeping this country safe and free from further attacks but he is far from the perfect POTUS.
Not everyone has to agree with Bush 100 percent of the time to get that Obama is bad for this country. This guy is putting his a** and his future on the line by coming out and stating what he truly believes.
