Randall Lee lost his two brothers and a pregnant sister-in-law in the 2002 Bali bombings. But from the ashes of the tragedy he found his wife, Jessica O'Grady, a survivor of the horrifying blasts. This is the Geelong electrician's story and his thoughts on the impending execution of the bombers.
IT IS a strange feeling -- after six long years -- knowing that the men who caused so much pain and anguish will meet justice.
It won't be cause for celebration for me when the perpetrators of the Bali bombings in 2002 are executed.
Sure, I will share a few drinks with friends and cast my mind back to the horrendous events that changed my life forever. But it will be more about moving on from this traumatic experience, rather than payback.
My brothers, Aaron and Justin, went to Bali six years ago for a holiday with friends and to celebrate Aaron's birthday on October 15.
And further cause for celebration was that Justin and his wife, Stacey, had just told us all she was six weeks pregnant with what would be my parent's first grandchild.
.....
For a while it seemed the Bali bombers would never face their day of reckoning.
.....
But we now wait expectantly for their demise.
.....
When I am told they have been executed, I will embrace my wife, who escaped the fiery hell of the Sari Club, and hug friends and family who have lived through this ordeal with me.
Most importantly, because of the number of appeals launched by the bombers to stave off their execution, I will know that they were afraid. Yes, afraid to die!
And I will know deep down that no god gave them justification for their terrible acts of murder.

I doubt they do—evidence shows they are high on heroin and other drugs....
Certainly can't be comforting to anyone but Chris Matthews!
Read the article - this is not about suicide bombers, it’s about those who are facing execution by firing squad.
Oh, sorry.........: - |
Roast in hell, suckers.
But I’ll bet they’re plenty scared about 20 seconds later.
Y’know, there’s wild pigs roaming around. They’re hungry too. Not that I’m suggesting anything.
