This pisses me off. We had this crap in 2000 and Bush or Cheney should have made sure that our troops votes were counted. This is totally unacceptable.
I agree, if this happens again, the blame can be placed squarely on the Bush administration. The DOD should have taken whatever steps necessary to ensure that every service person had access to his/her absentee ballot, that those ballots were completed and then returned directly to each state by DOD in plenty of time.
