I can’t understand what the other person is saying.
I listened to one tape to the end and she said repeatedly that he was born in the US, in Hawaii.
How many tapes are there?
What are you mad that you feel lied too? Let it go. Berg has no standing and he is unlikely to get anywhere unless McCain join his suit. So why spin your wheel and make conservatives look bad for even considering that Sarah may have claimed such and such. Berg was always an unknown quantity.
Maybe I’m missing something.
- The nature of the tape offers no proof of the identity of the participants. I heard unknown voices on a poor connection.
- I cannot understand much of it.
- It sounds like comrad zero’s grandma says he was born in Hawaii.
- After all the doubt over the past months, grandma may have been “tuned up” for a required response. Earlier, honest responses may have not been enjoyed.
I didn’t hear it on the tape. I expect grandma and the rest of the village got the word a long time ago to say Obama was born in Hawaii regardless of what she said before.
FYI . . . . this is a non issue with 2 days to go.

A lot of trolls expressing shame and sighs. Don’t worry about it. This is still a political issue that doesn’t need the wheels that trolls dream of. We have the internet to communicate with. If people are interested in this, others should leave them the heck alone. Concern over someone’s constitutional qualification is being a vigilant citizen. Trolls Against Vigilance — TAVs.
CALL FOR ACTION:
Please, all Fellow FREEPERS, please consider doing the following to prevent this mess ever happening again:
Call your State Senator, your State Representative and your Governor and ask them to provide simple legislation to give the Secretary of State the right, responsibility and obligation to confirm eligibility BEFORE ANYONE can go onto the ballot.
Personally, I think the best way to contact them is by phone during business hours, then a follow up by e-mail or mail to the person you talked to, then a follow-up a week or so later, but you can do what you think is best.
Practically, this would require all future candidates to fill out an application with supporting documentation, which could then be checked out by the Secretary of State’s office.
I don’t know about you, buy THIS idea seems a better use of our governments time then providing yet another social program designed to ruin people by not having them be accountable to their families (a basic problem).
If there is an enterprising lawyer or legislator on Free Republic who would like to provide well written sample legislation which could be submitted as a suggestion across the country, it would provide a basis for continuity.
Hope there are many, many people across the country who are willing to do this now, and after the election.
