Could we not substitute the modern liberal elitists for the old nobility in a technological marxist state? The wealthy liberal elitists: Movie/TV stars, Silcon Valley millionaires, most of the big name print and television journalists, the committed leftist politicians and such monied famlies that do exist in America.
Wouldn't these high-profile front groups and families be allowed to retain their status - as long as they served as useful mouthpieces for the State? I rather imagine they would be willing tools once the stark realities of the choice before them is made clear: Maintain relative wealth and popularity or be stripped of their wealth and influence, thereby forced to live by a subsistance job and meager handouts from the State.
It’s ironic, isn’t it? They defend abortion as a “right to privacy” but we don’t have the “right to privacy” for our own money.
Of course, they don’t base their ideology on logic anyway. It’s based on their utterly selfish bestial desires. This is a brave new world. Even my own father, who is supposed to be my mentor, is utterly mesmerized by socialist lies. I can’t escape the horror of it all.

The challenge:
Between NOW and election day, convince at least two Obama/Undecided voters to vote for McCain. (family, neighbors, friends, people waiting in the check-out line) Further, convince these two people (or two others) to take up the same challenge. (Like a chain letter)
So you have converted people in the past? Good, but we need more!
Many Obama supporters are mindlessly supporting him, with no real reason, this means it is VERY easy to get them to switch over. Even if you fail, other Obama/undecideds may be in the room and hear valid arguments and question their faith in the One.
Don’t kick yourself a week from now saying “I could’ve done more....”

I would defer to a historian of the Russian civil wars, but my impression was that there was essentially nothing left of the old intelligentsia and artist class by the time the Leninists got through with them. All were subject to searching examinations of their political purity, and those who failed ended up in Siberia, or in the West, especially Paris, if they could get away. Ayn Rand comes to mind.
The intelligentsia of the interwar and postwar periods were people who were useful to the regime, or at least available. Lysenko comes to mind. He was cosseted by the Soviet regime because his theory of educable genes echoed Leninist political theory. He set genetics back in Russia 50 years, and his complaints and professional rivalries condemned other, better geneticists to death in the gulag system. Lysenko was finally denounced in the 1950's for error, about 25 years too late.
Yeah, I wonder if Obama intends to enroll gang members as a thugpolice to beat down Whitey. Sort of like the "B Specials" attached to the Royal Ulster Constabulary, and similar constabular arrangements in South Africa.
In Louisiana in the 1960's, I heard that the parish police commissions and sheriffs had a standing backup arrangement, that in the event of a general black revolt, every white man in the parish would be deputized and ordered to arm himself. I wonder how far back those arrangements went -- possibly to the 18th century in the seaboard States. Certainly to the Jacksonian period in Louisiana.
Can't say that I disagree. However, this would be reminiscent of Poll Taxes and such which were deemed unconstitutional by the Supremes back in the 60’s I believe.
At a minimum, I believe that Mickey and Minnie Mouse should only be allowed to vote once per voting place... sarc...

As a democrat with connections inside the campaign, I fully understand the tactics they are trying to use to dissuade you from voting.
I am trying to warn you of what will happen. Please take heed and do not give up, VOTE. Some of you may have decided not to vote, to vote third party, or maybe even vote for BO to “teach the GOP a lesson” for nominating someone that is not conservative enough for your tastes.
Please reconsider. Have you noticed how many democrats are voting for McCain and against BO?
When has that EVER happened before? Never.
We, the ones who have not sipped the Kool-Aid, know how dangerous he is.
Much like in Nazi Germany, it was the members of Hitler's own party that knew what a monster he was and tried to overthrow him. This year it is the democrats that the DNC has purged that is ringing the warning bell.

I mentioned once that if Obama were elected, his one or two terms would be the penance that America has to endure for all the abortions and other things we did by throwing God’s blessings back in his face.
Looks like it’s time to batten down the hatchet. My only regret is that a lot of innocents are due to suffer along with us.
If it gets to the point that Party membership is required just so you can get a job, then we will be alarmed. Until then it’s interesting history for some and useless communist brownshirt menace conspiracy tinfoil for paranoids.
