My NewsBusters colleagues, and conservatives across the blogosphere, are sure to be vying to document the most outrageous examples of the MSM's fawning reaction to the Obama victory.
Hopefully I'll have the honor of at least a brief clubhouse lead with my entry, the words of CBS Early Show co-anchor Julie Chen during this morning's opening segment.
JULIE CHEN: Yeah, it was so moving, um, last night. You couldn't help but feel so emotional, and I agree with you [Maggie Rodriguez], I think John McCain did a really classy job in his speech [he did, but MSM loves Republicans best as losers] in acknowledging Barack's [Julie on first-name basis] big win. And what was most inspiring to me was when Barack Obama was addressing that huge crowd, was watching such a diverse group of faces, all with so much hope in their eyes. That made me feel really good.

Julie Chen feeling moved, emotional and really good ping to Today show list.
hope on their faces and nothing else inside their heads
It was interesting to see the terms used to describe what lies just ahead. A new era, a new nation, a better tomorrow...
The new era really struck me. I don’t have a problem with a Black President per se, but I do find it seriously disturbing to know the history of this guy, and that he received no vetting at all.
I saw all those people celebrating last night, and wondered how many of them would be losing their jobs, homes, wealth, future to the policies of Obama.
It was a surreal night watching the celebration for what lies just ahead.
I do with it not being Alan Keyes, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams or someone of that stature.
What do national reporters make per year? How is she going to feel when Obama reaches in her pocket and takes out another $3-5K.
My family makes about $90K when I get a good bonus, and I am figuring on $3K more in taxes once Obama gets started.
You are going to be very busy Mark...they just won’t be able to contain themselves today.
A plug too for former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele if you don't mind.
I agree.
Taking the 0 at his first word on taxes, raising the income tax on a $250,000 net income by 3.6% would increase that person’s tax bill by $9,000.
I am in line for my pie. I expect a 2500.00 reduction in my health care costs....add’l FMLA time....1k reduction in my taxes....give me time to research my other prizes.
I haven’t felt this good,since I started shacking-up with my
boss!
Concur.
“It was a surreal night watching the celebration for what lies just ahead.” Well said.
I never permitted myself to actually believe that it could happen, but it did. Now, we’ll all pay the price for the mass delusion that swept the country.
I actually thought McCain/Palin might pull it off. It’s very hard to know up front. You suspect the polls, wondering if they are being screwed with. I told folks I thought McCain/Palin would win, and win by 10pm last evening. I was wrong.
We need to be very observant as a unified group on this forum over the next four years.
I’m rather certain we’re going to have to have each others back from time to time.
I’m expecting Obama to pay my mortgage and put gas in my tank! NOW!
Oh, wait, I guess we aren’t included in the handouts.......
You most certainly aren't. Don't get that wrong again,
Your new President Elect (and don't for one minute forget it),
Barack
