I agree. I think this is the time for Newt to be RNC chairman.
It’s invisible now. If Newt takes the chair, Newt will be the face of the party and the MSM will tear at him on behalf of their (democrat) party.
I’m going to put the “historic electoral failures” on the RINOs, not the conservatives.
That oxymoron would be laughable if not so sad...
I am glad to see Cornyn will head the NRSC. McConnell holding on to Minority Leader is fine. I don’t like all of the same people in these positions however. I want true proud conservatives like Inhofe, Sessions, and DeMint. Any of them would be good for the policy postion. We need true conservative policies representing the Republican party.
More proof that Republicans will have to experience a total collapse before they consider real changes to their losing configuration.
Is that all the conservatives there are?
Newt can be effectivley buried out of site just running things and writing up talking points.
Sheesh peeple..
Tom Delay was run out of office for nothing. He isn’t guilty of anything.
Trent Lott was run out of office for an innocent comment.
Newt was run out of office for being Republican.
Foley was run out of office for communicating with a former page after he had left DC. It should have been no one’s business.
We eat our own, at the direction of the DNC.
I won’t even bother to list the Demos who are still in office who have done far worse. We need to play the game, the Demos set the rules, we need to adapt to them.
"I think Texas is certainly one of the states, like New York is for Democrats, that is really a big benefactor for Republicans," Cornyn said in an interview.
This turd voted for the bailout and he expects Texas conservatives to pony up money for the NRSC?
Utter ****ing denial.
If you want to know what is really going on, read “The Fourth Great Awakening: The Future of Egalitarianism in America”. A fascinating read and the last chapter is critical to understanding what has just happened.
I didn’t think it would happen so soon, but the author was dead on the money.
I guarantee you, Newt has read it and made notes. Probably got a pre-release copy.
Reshuffling the deck chairs.
That’s too bad.
NAHHH, the Republicans aren’t going to change anything.
I can’t wait to see what very old white guy they send us to vote for next time.
All three need to go. I voted against RINO Lamar! in the election. He got a huge number of rodent votes because he panders more to them than to Conservatives.
