“We need a Conservative ACORN.”

Bingo.

Nothing specifically leftist about the Alinsky method. Why can’t it be adapted for the right?

Come to think of it, “Atlas Shrugged” is about a community organizer — John Galt — who organizes a community of producers to go on strike.

The country elected a racist, socialist marxist for president. That’s what’s up.

I would assume that the MN GOP and Coleman’s people will be all over the recount, monitoring every move. He’d be crazy not to do that.

Senators get 6 years. Think of Al Franken a Senator. Good grief.

Agreed. I think that the Minnesota state government is going to have as many recounts required to reverse the result.

We need a Conservative ACORN. YES WE DO. And it needs to be on the job 24/7 from now until the next election.

I live here in Melbourne Australia and Obama HIRED an American expatriate living here to fly out about a month ago to work on getting out the vote in Ohio.

Those are deep pockets that get that support network going and we need to counter that every step of the way.

The race for 2012 began this morning, and the mid-term elections are a warm up.

I know Coleman. He’s okay, nothing exciting, but the thought that Franken almost got the senate seat gives me dry heaves.

This is your thread.

I think the Military Vote has yet to be counted.

Also, since there have been homeless given special priviledges in voting this election, can we not allow our military a few more days for their votes to come in.

The issue is not just the Coleman race. It is a question of fairness. Our troops are willing to fight and die for our country, yet we are unwilling to count their votes because of problems getting their votes to some place by a designeted cutoff time?

I am sorry, I have a problem with the lack of visibility of this issue and the lack of fairness to our people services the country in the armed forces...

I think the keyword Military Vote should be added to the thread.

But this is your thread, and I will not add it unless you want it to be.

I think this should be a pivotal talking point on any talk of recounts... If there is a recount, then additional time should be allowed for military votes to come in.

Additionally, John McCain had said that he would file issues with DOJ about getting the military vote counted.

I pray that this vote will be counted just out respect for these people.

One interesting point is that McCain got more votes in Minn than any other GOP Presidential candidate has gotten there.

If I recall correctly, Washington State kept finding “lost” bags of ballots in restrooms. Suddenly, after Gregoire was a vote or two ahead, the miraculous discoveries ceased.

In the democrat dream year of 2008, you’d have to be a real a$$hole to lose in Minnesota to a republican.

The flights from ORD to MSP tomorrow will be filled with the Chicago vote fabrication team. They’ve been printing the ballots all day today and working overtime to get them filled out. Bet you never knew that you have a Hyde Park polling place.

All excellent ideas. I actually have a few ideas about your suggestions one and two.

We absolutely need to get better candidates. Lest face it: McCain is an honorable man but not one person was excited about him. That’s way to typical with our candidates. We suffer from BCS: Bad Candidate Syndrome.

As for the young. Frankly, I think conservatism needs an image makeover. We need to get a little edgy, a little raw. The left are the reactionaries trying to go back to the authoritarian society of the past. We are rebels fighting for the timeless heresy: Freedom. That is the image we need to start projecting IMHO.

Latest a few minutes ago- 236 votes with 100% of precincts reporting.

Coleman(Incumbent) 1,211,542 42%
Franken 1,211,306 42%
Barkley 437,377 15%

I gotta sick feeling. I'm afraid the RATS will steal this one.
