'Gay' threats target Christians over same-sex 'marriage' ban
WorldNetDaily ^ | November 5, 2008

Decisions by voters in Florida, Arizona and California to join residents of 27 other states with constitutional protections for traditional marriage have prompted threats of violence against Christians and their churches.

"Burn their f---ing churches to the ground, and then tax the charred timbers," wrote "World O Jeff" on the JoeMyGod blogspot today within hours of California officials declaring Proposition 8 had been approved by a margin of 52 percent to 48 percent. Confirmation on voter approval of amendments in Florida and Arizona came earlier.

The amendments in all three states essentially limit marriage to one man and one woman. In California, the measure states the only marriages "valid and recognized" in the state are those between one man and one woman.

Thirty states now have adopted marriage amendments. However, in California, the vitriol appeared especially high since the state Supreme Court in May created same-sex marriage for homosexuals. Proposition 8 overruled the court decision, readopting the marriage definition California voters adopted in 2000.

Black voters voted against gay marriage in large numbers. They are the voting group that squashed the gay agenda.

Ah dont you just love tolerance from the left - lets not wait for the liberal media to pick up on this. Time to organize - I expect there to be a real division in America - the federal govt is goint to try to enact its will on the red states - I expect them to say to hike a tree - there is alot of anger out there - if the feds try to push it too hard there will be chaos...be prepared.

Let’s see the people that attack abortion clinics are insane or evil but the folks talking up this kind of violence based simply on people disagreeing with voters, they’re good guys? So says the left.

The best thing about this article is the

sarcastic quote marks

around the word “marriage” in the title.

^^opps! duh! I meant to say the same that voted Obama in had to be the same that supported the ban. How they can look at the outcome of the vote & not see that is typical lefty blindness.

That's the sort of politically incorrect fact that will cause a liberal/black/commie/gay melt-down.

"Gay" has an positive emotional sound to it. People are less apt to object to it. That's why the left has given it a pretty name.
They give the all vilest of passions a pretty name. Abortion isn't a "woman's choice." (Isn't that pretty?) Call it what it is - It's the brutal dismemberment of a human infant while it's still alive. That's not so "pretty" anymore, is it?

Call this what it really is - homosexuality. Two people engaging in homosexual sex. Period.

If you people really want to stop the left, call thing what they are. When the liberals masks are removed, the ugliness underneath is truely shocking.

"Calling something by it's true name is the first path to wisdom."

Proposition 8 overruled the court decision, readopting the marriage definition California voters adopted in 2000.

It's amazing how these anti-Prop8 lawsuits blantantly promote the idea that the Judiciary somehow trumps the constitution the judges have pledged to uphold. It is common knowledge that when liberals can not get their ideas into law through the proper means, i.e. the legislative and executive branches, they turn to the judicial branch, the least democratic branch.

And if they succeed, the legislative and executive branches tend to roll over and not fight for their separate powers. I wonder what changes the founders would have made to the US constitution if they could have foreseen an issue like abortion being decided by the courts?

More disturbing is the realization that most citizens have been conditioned to believe that the judicial branch is supreme over the constitution, and the executive and legistlative powers. The passage of Proposition 8 is a much needed lesson that the judiciary is subordinate to the constitution.

What’s interesting is that kids are able to see through the homosexual propaganda. ‘Gay’ is now common slang among young people to mean stupid, sick, or idiotic (a totally negative connotation). Youth didn’t fall for the positive spin that homosexuals tried to put on their lifestyle and turned that very word into what is now an insult. Luckily, kids are smarter than the homosexual activists.

have prompted threats of violence against Christians and their churches.

Homosexuals are extremely intolerant of other peoples views. What a hateful group they are.
