Anti Prop 8 Mob Swarms Elderly Lady: TV Anchor Proclaims 'Hate on Both Sides'
NewsBusters ^ | November 11, 2008 | P.J. Gladnick

Watch this amazing video of an anti Proposition 8 mob in Palm Springs swarming an elderly woman, ripping a cross out of her hand, and then stomping on it. What is most amazing about this video is the idiotic summation of what happened by KPSP TV anchorman, Kris Long. However before we get to his money quote, let us take a look at a report on this mobbing by LifeSiteNews.Com:

Video footage from KPSP CBS 2 Palm Spring News shows Proposition 8 protesters surrounding an elderly woman and the reporter trying to interview her, shouting and blocking the camera's view of the woman, ultimately forcing the two to flee from the encircling crowd.

Phyllis Burgess, a supporter of true marriage, had been assaulted earlier as she displayed a large cross in front of the protesters. Video footage shows the anti-marriage crowd pushing Burgess, slapping the cross out of her hand and stomping on it as they surround her.

DUmbest conclusion by a news anchor ever. Kris Long should win some kind of award for this.

How can I contact the station to voice my opinion?

All of the hate and animosity is coming from the gay side of the issue.

Did you see any protests when the court issued their outrageous ruling on homosexual marriage?

As much as so many oppose homosexual marriage, they would have lived with the outcome of the vote without going down to The Castro and trying to pick fights with homosexuals, if the vote had gone the other way.

The gay activists are the ones who are hateful. I don’t like when news people misstate the facts. Who is marching? Who is picketing churches? Who is invading churches during services to intimidate?

Let me get this straight, the news guy says there is a lot of hate on both sides. Yet, there is only one old lady in favor of Prop. 8 and the mob against 8 is blocking her, preventing the interview, and destroying her cross. What we see is liberal tolerance at its best.

It was obviously unilateral hatred. The anchor was either too afraid to appear to be pro man-woman marriage and incur the wrath of the homosexuals or is so blinded by his belief system that he actually couldn’t see the truth.

Romans 1:

18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

He has to say that. He is worried for his job if he does not. That is the problem with most people. They are so over-leveraged with debt, they have not saved, and thus it makes them susceptible to all kinds of manipulation at the workplace.

In the military, members are routinely asked about their finances and personal life. Why? Simple. If one is declaring bankruptcy or in need of money, they become VERY susceptible to bribes from foreign agents in return for US secrets. The same goes for everyone else only the “bribes” are giving them a job and forcing them to make political statements or forcing the worker to hold a political position.

I wonder how many people in the MSM are part of the group that just does it because they have to and not because they actually believe the political drivel.

Wow, what fun MSNBC would have with this if it were a bunch of country boys from Mississippi picking on an elderly black woman. Instead, these folks are all heros to Maddow, Olbernut, and Chrissy.

I have already contacted them. Response follows:

Mr. Jones:
I was in the studio amidst a lot of confusion when this story was unfolding live on the air and I didn’t hear the comment. This evening, I looked at the story on our website and heard the “anger and hatred” comment. The comment was an unfortunate ad-lib by one of our anchors. It did not reflect a personal bias or an agenda...just an attempt, I assume to try to make an even handed comment amidst a very scary situation. It is our priority in this newsroom to be independent truth tellers...but we’re also human beings...and mistakes do happen. Thank you for taking the time to offer your observations...we appreciate hearing from viewers, both pro and con. I’m sorry we disappointed you on this occasion. Our goal will be to do better next time around.
Best,

Steve

In just a week, many Californians and Americans are being subjected to Hate Crimes brought about by criminal gay deviates.

We don’t march and threaten gays with axes, axe handles, ball bats and other weapons. As done by Hate Filled Gays in a church as shown in the picture linked below:

Nor do we threaten elderly gays and rip their rainbows away from them. However gays committed this hate crime against an elderly Christian woman as shown in the link below. There will be a short bumper ad before it starts:

We can boycott the corporations funding the repeal of Prop 8.

There are many corporations funding the repeal of Prop 8.
This link takes us right to the corporate sponsor page to repel Prop 8:

Boycotts can work for our side too.
