Armstrong's wish is to combine universal principles of respect and compassion into a charter based on a "golden rule" she believes is at the core of every major religion.

The Golden Rule essentially calls on people to do unto others as they would have done unto them.

I guess she doesn't consider Islam a major religion. The golden rule is a Christian thing. And one of he reasons the naive Christians are no match for fundamental Muslims.- tom

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. NO ONE goes to the Father except by HIM.

That means that all the other pretenders and wannabes are guaranteed to accomplish one thing and one thing only: to condemn the souls of deluded men and women straight to Hell if they reject Jesus Christ, for He is the only path to Salvation and Eternal Life.
