President Bush has disappointed his staunchest supporters no few times during his presidency, but nothing — not even his failed attempt to force a flawed immigration bill upon the nation — has been more disappointing than his refusal to pardon or commute the sentences of incarcerated border agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean. On Dec. 11, 29 convicted criminals received presidential pardons. They included persons convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud, and drug smugglers and dealers and a moonshiner. However, while Mr. Bush was willing to extend the ultimate gift of the season to corrupt criminal elements, he stubbornly refuses to show the same forgiveness to Ramos and Compean.

So what? Nothing has changed and Bush is apaprently willing to let these two guys hang out in Jail for the full ten years.
Current or not, it’s factual! And Bush is currently as big a jagoff for not having pardonned these two as he was some time ago.

Everyone should be reminded at this godawful act of treason on the Bush Admin part....that we locked up two US law enforcement officers on the word of an ILLEGAL ALIEN DRUG DEALER
The fact that Bush refuses to release these men will forever mar his adminsitration. It is outright treason and sedition to not release these two men...while we are releaseing drugdealers and other criminals
Anyone who values the rights of illegal aliens over American citizens is already moral scum. To value the word of an illegal alien drug dealer over the word of two law enforcement officers...well..
Bush will be remmembered as one of the worst rulers any democracy ever had.
I hope we can get Palin or Jindal or a close clone in in 2012. But the damage Bush has done will take a long time to remedy.
