He's been a constitutional lawyer for 30 years and he says that "The people and the Electoral College cannot overcome this?"

The Electoral College would not be bound by any laws to cast their votes for Obama. Basically, they have a "Gentlemen's agreement" to vote for OBama, but by no means do they have to do so. PLUS, the courts can enjoin them from ever voting.

I think you misuderstood. He meant that the electoral college cannot overcome Obama’s ineligibility and vote him in anyways.
