Those the don’t care about the community you don’t.
Our last two sheriffs in OC, CA were corrupt. The latest in currently on trial. We have had the grand jury investigating them for 30 years and the only ones ever fired are non-union rookies.
OC California knows not to trust its sheriffs or police.
Do you know motorcycle cops in our city can be sitting on your street and cannot respond to 911 calls? You have to wait for a cruiser.
Motorcycle cops are only revenue generators for city by giving tickets.

Heres the full Quote:
Robert A. Heinlein: An armed society is a polite society.
Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts
with his life.
Robert A. Heinlein was a realist and his books are very enlightening and fun to read.

Yes, I’m pro-gun for freedom issues but not as an effective crime strategy. What Rudy did worked. You need a top down approach and focus on the areas with the most crime.

Hubby and I took the NRA safety course last week and will apply for our concealed carry permits on Thursday. I was surprised that I enjoy shooting at the range as much as I do (our new hobby) and I’m almost as good a shot as he is! :D

I’m not sure I understand why a motorcycle cop can’t respond. Could it be that if there were guns involved they wouldn’t have any protection in the case of a streetfight? Not sure.
Anyway, I used to live on the other side of the river in ILlinois near East St. Louis. There are major drug problems in both those areas. It’s been that way for years. I just feel bad for the people who just want to live their lives without a stray bullet coming though their window.

Apparently getting a concealed carry is next to impossible in most counties in NY unless you’re a security guard or something.
