"Embattled" ? BWAHAHAHAHAHA! They never give up, do they? ... but aren't they dragging Bloomberg into this? No. It's a "preemptive strike", stating that Bradley Tusk is "squeaky clean".

Not to worry. Short of a Federal Bailout, no amount of money could bribe Nanny Bloomberg.

Finally, the Times managed to tie a Republican to this scandal! The editorial staff can sleep at last.

Good find — we should all proliferate this as much as possible.

MSM now trying to drag a Repub (Bloomberg) into it.

So Dems (and therefore Nobama) will not be the only target.

Bloomberg may not be our friend.

But millions will tune out when they hear a Repub is tied to the Dem scandal.

Obama will no longer be the center of attention. Clever MSM ploy.

“MSM now trying to drag a Repub (Bloomberg) into it.”
______________________________________________________________________
Bloomberg was a Dem up to the day he realized he would win with an (R) rather than a (D). He won the office riding Rudy’s coat tails. But king michael is no Rudy and definitely no lovable Ed. Any New Yorker will tell you two terms is more than adequate for any man but Bloomberg’s ego demands and expects the world to genuflex to his mediocreness.

MSM is merely dragging in an old Dem in drag. Mike’s mercurial political affiliation is currently an Independent. Boss B left the GOP after winning his second term ala Jumpin Jim Jeffords. So the MSM is actually dragging into the fray a man without core loyalties but to himself.

Michael Bloomberg is not a Republican. Boss Mike left the GOP after securing his second term. He left the Dems in 2001 right before the election. He left the GOP in 2007 after winning the second term.

Again Bloomberg is not a Republican. Never really was.

Is Bloomberg on Hillary’s enemies list, too? I think this is her replay of the scene from the Godfather when M. Coreleone is at a baptism while all his enemies are being wiped out by his goons. There (s)he stands, with spotless hands.

Obama will not be tied to this in a way that will negatively impact him .
OTOH , if this taints Bloomberg for good , I am more than happy with that result , although unlikely .

This might actually be a Godsend to rid us of Doomberg’s aspirations, if it had the MSM’s desired effect . They only see the “R” and would be doing us a huge favor .

We are stuck with B.O. for 4 years like it or not , so no effect there ....

Bloomberg = self-appointed tyrant.

I applaud any action by any party (MSMDem included) to take him out of office.

No, Bloomberg is not even a pretend RINO anymore — after getting re-elected he declared that he is now registered as an Independent. He used the Rs when convenient and then tossed all party affiliation aside.

I suppose that the Mediascum can try to tie his past (opportunistic) RINO period into this, but that would be quite a stretch, even for the dishonest MSM.

Bloomberg was a Dem up to the day he realized he would win with an (R) rather than a (D).

We all know this but the populace doesn't know these finer details.

All they will know is that now a Repub is tied to the thing so Obama will be shielded from attention.

If public attention wanes there is no scandal as the MSM well knows.

Hey, well , we are in “ Oust the RINO’s mode “ so does it matter if it comes from our side or their side at this point ? The MSM might actually unwittingly be doing us a favor here ...

“Mr. Obama has a relationship with Mr. Blagojevich, having not only endorsed Blagojevich in 2002 and 2006, but having served as a top adviser to the Illinois governor in his first 2002 run for the state house.”
