President-elect Barack Obama's inaugural committee today announced the theme of his swearing-in -- "Renewing America's Promise" -- and the preliminary schedule.
"At this moment of great challenge and great change, renewing the promise of America begins with renewing the idea that in America, we rise or fall as one nation and one people," Obama said in a statement. "That sense of unity and shared purpose is what this Inauguration will reflect."

A fund-raising perk package for the official Obama Presidential Inauguration Committee -- for those giving $50,000 or raising $300,000 -- includes tickets to four days of parties, brunches, dinners and an inauguration night ball.
The PIC sent the perk package -- which does not have a formal guarantee for a ticket to the Jan. 20 swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol -- to President-elect Barack Obama's best fund-raisers Wednesday, with only weeks to raise at least $40 million to bankroll Obama inauguration festivities.
I think the theme should be “A Gathering of Village Idiots!”

This is the same dribble that we have gotten from him already. He still wants to tout that we should become some sort of collective.
He should of been touting “unity and a shared purpose” before the elction and opposing the anti-American sentiments that were coming out of his political party if he was hoping for these principles but yet he wasn’t he was supporting the opposite.

I don’t know how to “plan” for tears but I know this:
they will flow freely on Jan.20th as I see my country being taken over by a who knows what who doesn’t know anything about anyone .
