Franken Campaign Calls For Government Invasion Of A Church! (as a crime scene)

- - In Press Release Franken campaign wants church to be treated as a crime scene

Republican Party of Minnesota Chair Ron Carey today called the Franken campaign’s decision to call for a forensics investigation of a Minneapolis Church “both offensive and completely out-of-control” and asked for the campaign to stop its harassment of Minneapolis election officials and Church officials.

“Today’s demand from the Franken Campaign that government authorities invade the University Lutheran Church Of Hope, essentially cordoning it off and conducting a forensics search, is both offensive and completely out-of-control. At what point does the Franken campaign simply conduct itself in this recount with some semblance of dignity? Demanding that the government invade a place of worship—and require taxpayers to foot the bill for that invasion—is bizarre and repulsive. In addition to a loud slap in the face of local election officials, the Franken campaign’s demand for information on the administrator of the church is simply tantamount to government-sponsored persecution. The Franken campaign has routinely questioned the integrity of local Minnesota election officials who are doing their civic duty and helping out with the recount efforts, and today’s demands from their campaign should be rejected by all Minnesotans who value the way in which we conduct ourselves and elections in this state.”

Franken Campaign Demands Search Of Lutheran Church, Which Served As Polling Place On Election Day:

“Democrat Al Franken's campaign called Thursday for Minnesota officials to engage in a ‘systematic, forensic search’ for 133 ballots missing in a Minneapolis precinct favoring the Democrat. … ‘We are calling upon the Secretary of State, Hennepin County, and the City of Minneapolis to complete an intensive search,’ said Franken attorney Marc Elias in a conference call, addressing reports that 133 votes have gone missing in a Minneapolis's Third Ward. Elias said every person who touched or transported the ballots should be interviewed, and any polling place, vehicles, or warehouses that have held the ballots should be searched.” (Michael O'Brien, “Franken Wants 'Forensic Search' for Ballots,” The Hill, December 4, 2008)

University Lutheran Church Of Hope Is Located At 601 13TH AVE SE in Minneapolis.

Franken Continues Campaign Against Minnesota’s Local Election Officials
Republican Party of Minnesota
Press Release
December 10, 2008

New Campaign Web video uses Minnesotans to continue Franken campaign’s attack on the work of local election officials

Republican Party of Minnesota Chair Ron Carey issued the following statement today in response to the Al Franken campaign’s new web video, which attacks Minnesota’s local election officials for their work on the issue of absentee ballots on Election Night. The Franken campaign released the new web video today.

“This is a new low – even for a campaign whose primary recount strategy is to attack local election officials in the hopes of finding new votes they can throw into the recount. The Franken campaign’s shameless exploitation of individual Minnesotans in order to further their political agenda is simply offensive. For Al Franken, the campaign clearly has not stopped, and today they’ve shown once again how low they will sink by attacking the work of local election officials as they seek to change the outcome of the Senate race.”

I’ll do a little “Forensic” reasoning about this request.

Minneapolis's Third Ward must be a fairly Democrat ward if Franken is so certain that these 133 missing votes were cast for him.

The alternative to this ward being Democrat is that his campaign had these votes fixed.

Some one familiar with this area will have to tell us which is more likely.

It is truly hard to believe that this kind of thing (person?)is what half of the voters in Minnesota voted for.

Franken has been around a while, his message and personality are not unknown, and yet almost half of the people who voted in this state desire this cretin to represent them.

You have to wonder how many of them merely ,blindly, voted for the D behind his name.

Unfortunately MN has some of the stupidest voters in America. For example in 2006 it passed a constitutional amendment that could take 100 percent of vehicle excise tax (sales tax) and dedicate it to public transportation. Even outstaters voted for this, but only Minneapolis-St. Paul would have any actual benefit. (If you could call it that.) Then of course there was Jesse Ventura.

If the churc in question was harboring an illegal alien, then the Dems would form a human chain to keep government officials out.

Don’t sweat it. ULCOH is an ecumenical liberal toilet. Frankenstein just wants it tossed to ‘find’ missing ballots (ones that may have even been planted there by the time of this post).

A "What did he know and when did he know it" moment.

Lord, please let this end and let this small minded idiot go back to whatever he did. We really need a rest from all the insane people trying to change our wonderful country.

If the evil Franken manages to steal this, the Capitol should be stormed and the senate disbanded.
