I posted this as a vanity because I'm still kind of new to this and didn't want to list it incorrectly. :)

Many people, including Republicans in the “Springfield Combine”, speak well of Alexi Giannoulias and Jesse Jackson, Jr. - indications of how screwed up Illinois is....people don't know what they don't know and act surprised when the warts become visible.

Too bad Obama would not release his client list back when he was practicing law. He was professionaly tied with an ACORN affiliate that apparently use strong arm intimidation.

Wow! A lot of info there, how long have you been compiling this?

Since there are a few of us that are not from Illinois/Chicago, can you supply references to these 12 points?

Just How Dirty Are Chicago Politics?

The way little Lisa Madigan has piously sought to portray herself as a corruption fighter for the people during this whole debacle makes me sick. Lisa Madigan is JUST as corrupt as Blago, she just hasn’t been caught with her hand in the cookie jar yet! She looked the other way for YEARS while Chicago machine corruption ran rampant, but NOW that Blago’s been caught with the smoking gun, she demands his ouster immediately, so we can go back to “business as usual” — due process be damned.
The Chicago machine wants Blago out of the way ASAP now that he’s damaged goods. The need to have Crook County corruption swept under the rug and that’s not possible as long as he’s the face of the IL RATs.

Lisa Madigan is trying to bypass the legal procedures for removing a governor and invoke an obscure clause used in emergencies to remove elected officials who suffer from illness. If we allow this to go forward and let the A.G. and four judges remove a Governor on a whim, it will set a dangerous precedent for future governors. Basically, five people (A.G. + 4 judges) in a closed door meeting would be able to remove whoever they wanted for whatever reason! Little Lisa says we can’t wait for impeachment. Of course this all could have been prevented if we VOTERS had the power of RECALL like 35 other states, but oh yeah, the Chicago machine fought tooth and nail AGAINST giving voters that power when it was brought up in the last election cycle, remember Lisa? Looks like you reap what you sow.

I urge everyone to call the A.G.’s office and the IL SC on Monday, and give them hell about this. You want to remove the Governor, do it thur the proper process!! Let’s have an open, public, impeachment trial and make the case that Blago is unfit to serve.

DONNA SCHWAN was the realtor for Obama’s house. She thought the lot next door deal was weir4d because bama’s never expressed any interest or said a word about the lot.

Re: # 10. Robert Blackwell Jr. paid Obama an $8,000-a-month retainer for "legal advice" for a technology firm he owned. As a "thank you", Obama wrote a letter so that another company Blackwell owned could receive a state grant.

Obama Paid By Donor Who Got State Grant

At the time, Obama had recently completed his unsuccessful campaign for Congress, and had numerous debts and a law practice he had neglected for a year while campaigning, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Obama had been so strapped for cash that his credit card was initially rejected when he tried to rent a car at the 2000 Democratic convention, Obama disclosed in his book “The Audacity of Hope.”

The monthly payments from EKI supplemented Obama’s $58,000-a-year part-time state Senate salary, and eventually totaled $112,000.

Robert Blackwell Jr., CEO and founder of Electronic Knowledge Interchange Inc., has been named to the transition team of Governor-elect Rod Blagojevich.
