My sister had it and a co-worker is recovering from it. Both were hospitilized and various antibotics were used, and even then it was resistant. Both were simular cases where they were pumped up with so much antibotics to where the organs start to fail.
They were lucky, as I had a friend die within 24 hours of getting diagnosed.
