ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Washing hands is important & when I had it I was careful to use just my bathroom & toss away plates & forks etc. With my last case that doctor d-mn near killed me giving the drugs Rifamprin & Bactrim. Even though I warned her of my hep C she gave me them anyway. I ended up in the ER with a very bad drug reaction. Now I make sure my regular doctor checks every drug I take. I know I got my MRSA from the hospital when I got my liver biopsy & then from a bug bite.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOLThere are many people who have this strain of Staph colonized on and in their bodies, yet don't get infected (EVERYONE has Staph all over their skin; it's normal flora). Most MRSA infections are of the skin (although it can happen in other body sites). If there is a break in the skin, then there is potential for infection; it's as simple as that. So I would suggest that rather than homeschooling, all one has to do is wash out any open wounds with soap and water, and monitor for infection.
