Wade Sanders, who is far more of a radical leftist than this CNN article indicates, was the head of John Kerry’s veterans outreach effort in 2004. Less formally, he was Kerry’s primary hatchet man against the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. The news of Sanders’ arrest is being greeted this morning with quiet amusement by many of the anti-Kerry veterans he smeared and trashed.

June, 1970 -- Kerry joins Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), a national veterans group that is part of the Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice. The PCPJ is a broad coalition of local and national organizations, including the Communist Party, USA, "committed to conducting demonstrations aimed at ending the war in Indochina, and poverty, racism and injustice at home." The VVAW, CCI and PCPJ all have headquarters at 156 Fifth Avenue in New York City. VVAW Executive Secretary Al Hubbard, a former Black Panther, is also on the coordinating committee of the PCPJ. Hubbard soon appoints Kerry to the VVAW's Executive Committee, bypassing the normal election process.

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:
"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

The authors of this book apparently channelled the former Reich Minister of Information, because this book is nothing other than a regurgitation of the lies spouted by a thoroughly discredited group to smear a man they never served with.....

My guess is that Mr. Sanders denials would fall in the same level of credibility as his statements here. FWIW.

Corruption on the left knows no bounds.

I do take times like this to reflect on why it is so important for us to lead by example. It really bothers me to see folks who profess to be Conservatives screw up in public.

This is the best Christmas present I could ever get....he and I had quite a discourse during the time his butt buddy kerry was running for President. He thought he was going to be the next secretary of defense. He was a swift boat naval officer and dropped his fellow swift boaters in the grease defending the coward kerry.

I have his home phone number...I think I will give him a call and wish him a Merry Christmas. I’m so overjoyed with this news....it is indeed the time to be “Merry”.
