Any idea when the show will air? Or is Dr. Phil live? I work, so I don’t get to watch, but I would like to tape it.

I just want to know when it will air.

Of course we’ll have it picked apart long before that.

And I’m wondering where “Doctor” Phil will come down on this?

Saw the charming Miss Coulter’s book at Walmart. Is she on the best sellers list yet?

The new New York Times bestsellers list finally came out Wednesday and "Guilty" came in as #2

Not bad at all.

Number ONE on book scan.

Here is MORE from http://www.drphil.com/shows/page/reservation_faq/:
What is your taping schedule?
Dr. Phil generally tapes twice a day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Arrival time for the "A" show is between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. (THIS is our time.) Arrival time for the "B" show is between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.

The show generally tapes from August through early December, and then from January through May, excluding holidays.

Is there an age requirement?
You must be at least 18 years old to attend a taping. If the topic permits, you can be 16 or 17 years old, provided you attend the taping with your parent or legal guardian. If this is the case, minors must have valid photo identification and a birth certificate in order to be admitted. Children under 16 will not be allowed into the studio.

How many seats can I reserve?
You may reserve up to four seats for any one taping.

How can I reserve the best seats?
Seat arrangement is done on a first-come first-served basis. The earlier you arrive at Paramount Studios, the better choice of seats you will have. If you arrive at Paramount Studios before your scheduled check-in time, please be aware that you will be waiting outside until the doors are opened.

What can I expect on tape days?
Please expect to wait on the sidewalk outside Paramount Studios until the doors open. Once they open, you will be admitted into a waiting area outside the studio until the stage is clear for admittance. There are benches to sit on and vending machines available once you are on the Paramount lot.

If you are booked for the B show, you will be waiting in this area until the conclusion of the A show. You may want to eat a big breakfast as sometimes the A Show may run longer than usual. There are no breaks once the taping begins.

How long will the taping last?
Generally, the morning taping ENDS around 10:30 a.m., and the afternoon taping ENDS at around 12:30 p.m. These times are subject to change. You must stay for the duration of the taping.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible? What if I have special needs?
Paramount Studios is wheelchair accessible. If you have special needs, please inform the audience coordinator when making your reservation. We will be happy to assist you.

How often can I attend a taping?
We ask that you attend Dr. Phil no more than once every four weeks unless asked back to a specific show by a member of our production staff.

Can I request to see a specific topic?
You may request a show by its topic, but realize topic information is always subject to change up until the day of the show.

Where is the audience entrance?
The audience will enter at 860 N. Gower St., one block north of Waring St., directly under the blue "Wyland Wall."

Paramount Studios
Dr. Phil Entrance
860 N. Gower St.
Hollywood, CA 90038

Paramount Studios is located in Hollywood on the corner of Melrose Ave. and N. Gower St., just south of Santa Monica Blvd.

Click here for a printable map.

**Please note: Some Tuesdays there are alternate parking instructions. Please check with the audience coordinator who confirms your reservation.

What time should I get there?
A show: Between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
B show: Between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.

The earlier you check in, the better choice of seats you will have. If you should arrive before the doors are scheduled to open, please be aware that you will wait outside until check-in.

Can I change a name on my reservation?
If only one name in your party is changing, you can change it at audience check-in on the day of your taping (providing the replacement person adheres to all requirements). If you want to change more than one name on your reservation, you must call the reservation line (323.461.PHIL) prior to the date of taping, and state those name changes clearly on the voicemail.

What do I wear?
We ask that everyone dress in business attire. A pants suit and blazer is appropriate, as it does get chilly in the studio. Please DO NOT wear any white or beige clothing, elaborate patterns or jeans, as they are not preferred for the camera.

Can I take a picture or get Dr. Phil's autograph?
No cameras, recorders, cell phones, pagers, books, food, etc. will be allowed in the studio. If you bring these or any similar items, we will check them and return them to you upon leaving the studio. Unfortunately, we do not have time to sign autographs. Please do not bring Dr. Phil's books with you.

Additional Information:

Security Check
Everyone attending the show must go through a security check before gaining access to the studio. Please downsize any purses or bags you are bringing with you.

Uh oh...this may be a set-up for her. Surprised she’d go on there. Phil had a show this week about “transgendered” children. Two of the guest experts were from Focus on the Family. These two gentlemen were cut off, interrupted, shouted at, and treated as general rubes. Phil allowed the other guests and audience to go wild against them while the two FOTF guys weren’t even allowed to get a word in.

This won’t be pretty.

EXCELLENT, D1!

I am working on getting a block of "group" tickets, but for now, it might be best if everyone who has Internet access (i.e., FReepers) make YOUR OWN reservations here:

http://www.drphil.com/shows/reservations
They will let each of you reserve as many as FOUR tickets, so please do.

If you are definitely going yourself -- but you don't need that many, just put in names of your family or friends for the rest of the spaces -- as we can always CHANGE the exact names later.

I was going to suggest that you use the names of your favorite FICTIONAL characters, but that way we could get half a dozen Dagny Taggerts. :o)
Remember that we want to see the taping of the 1/21 "A" show - with Ann Coulter.

Please.

Our Ann is FEARLESS!

She goes where angels fear to tread, etc.
And, she will have the support of "a few FRiends" in the studio audience -- just in case.
Besides, Ann THRIVES on controversy -- so she will win, no matter WHAT happens. :o)

You all know, don’t you, that Phil McGraw is the slightly less toxic spawn of Oprah Winfrey.

Trust me, the long knives will be out and sharpened for Ann!

I would urge folks to use your link right away if they are interested. The request page says “last chance” to attend the 20th and 21st tapings, so the availability may not last long.

Thanks again, D1!

I just got of the phone with the "group" guy from the Dr. Phil show, and have locked in a big chunk of "VIP" tickets...

...but for now, let's continue to order as many as we can online, and on the telephone, too.
Everybody who wants to come, please FReep-mail me:
- if you are coming,
- how many people,
- their names and
- how you reserved any tickets (online, on the telephone, how many, what names, etc.) - if you already did.
I promised the guy that I would call him back on Monday, and change any reservations that FReepers have already made into "VIP" tickets, so that we can all sit together, and get in first, etc.
