Court records say one of two Weyauwega brothers accused of running over and killing deer with their snowmobiles told investigators he also killed another deer later and butchered it.

WAUPACA, Wis. (AP) -- Court records say one of two Weyauwega brothers accused of running over and killing deer with their snowmobiles told investigators he also killed another deer later and butchered it.

Court records say that killing happened as Rory and Robby Kuenzi drove home to their mother's home after an earlier incident in which five deer were run over just south of Waupaca.

Until Friday, authorities had said only five deer were killed in what they described as an unprecedented thrill killing with snowmobiles.

Deer Torture Suspect Tied to Hit-and-Run

A man accused of running over and killing deer with his snowmobile along with two others is a suspect in a hit-and-run pedestrian fatality.

WAUPACA, Wis. (AP) -- A man accused of running over and killing deer with his snowmobile along with two others is a suspect in a hit-and-run pedestrian fatality.

Rory Kuenzi, 24, his brother Robby Kuenzi, 23, Nicholas D. Hermes, 22, face multiple felonies related to the Jan. 9 killing of four adult deer and a fawn.

Prosecutors say the three Weyauwega residents chased the animals down with snowmobiles.

But court records allege Rory Kuenzi is a suspect in the 2004 death of Kevin McCoy, who was struck by a vehicle while walking home from a party in Farmington.

People who kill animals in that way also have no regard for humans and would do the same

Fond Du Lac / Snowmobiler kills 57 ducks on river
Pioneer Press

Updated: 01/14/2009 11:58:29 PM CST

Investigators are trying to find a snowmobiler who ran over and killed 57 mallard ducks on a river near Fond du Lac.

The ducks were killed Tuesday and found in a hole in the ice and on both sides of it in the Fond du Lac River, the Department of Natural Resources reported.

It appears a single snowmobiler performed two passes of water skipping over the ice hole and hit the ducks, said George Protogere, warden supervisor.

The incident comes amid outrage over another thrill killing near Waupaca. A group of snowmobilers herded and ran over five deer last weekend. Four were killed, and one was euthanized.

Color me unsurprised...no offense, but there are some massively messed up people in WI, even more than in MN which is a feat unto itself.

It’s good that the scum is getting caught. I’m still waiting to hear about the bastard who killed all those ducks, but hopefully Justice will prevail.

This kind of cruelty to animals is a precursor to violence directed towards humans and is always a sign of a twisted, depraved, dangerous person.

Wouldn’t running over deer, and ducks around a water hole, with your snowmobile be potential Darwin award activities? The first because a 200 lb. deer hitting you in the face can’t be all that good for even a tiny little pinhead brain. The second, because of thin ice.

Didn’t even see the part about one being a suspect in a hit-and-run that killed a man.

“Weyauwega”

Pity. They give good cheese producers a bad name. :(

(Glad they were caught.)

Lol...I had placed a mental bet that you would say that within two more posts...

And ours has two world series, so there, we’re even now...Oh, and we have a pro Hockey team...

As Homer Simpson says, “In your face Milwaukee!!” ;-)

Don’t forget the Braves. And yes I would love a pro hockey team, but the Admirals are pretty good.
