U.S. NAVAL BASE GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba - Accused terrorist Omar Khadr identified Maher Arar as someone he recognized who appeared at an al-Qaida-run "safe" house in Afghanistan, an FBI agent testified at a Guantanamo Bay military commission Monday.
Robert Fuller said Khadr made the identification when he interrogated the Canadian-born terror suspect at Bagram in Afghanistan in October 2002.

Maher Arar had the whole of Canada’s chattering class pushing for his exoneration, while only a few brave voices dared raise the possibility that Arar was not the innocent victim of U.S. government prejudice that he was being presented as.
Arar got himself $10 million from the Canadian taxpayers in the bargain.
Now we realize that Arar was the Al-Qaeda terrorist the U.S. said he was.
This is going to be Canada’s version of the Alger Hiss case.
It can cause one to wonder what he is going to spend the $10 Million on.
