President Obama on Thursday will order the closure of so-called black sites, where CIA and European security services have interrogated terrorist suspects, under executive orders dismantling much of the Bush admistration's architecture for the war on terror, according to four individuals familiar with a draft executive order.
Mr. Obama will shutter "all permanant detention facilities overseas," the draft said, according to the individuals who asked not to be named because the orders have not yet been signed. There are at least eight such prisons, according to published reports. The Bush administration never revealed the number or location of the facilities, although several were said to be in Eastern Europe.
The individuals said there will be three executive orders. One will order the black sites closed and require all interrogations of detainees across the entire U.S. intelligence community to adhere to the U.S. Army Field Manual. The manual specifies a range of interrogation techniques that are not considered torture.

The first attack on US soil since 9-11 will be blamed on Bush no matter what Obama does.
The strategy will be to open the borders wide open from Islamic countries. This is what the leftists did in the UK, Holland, EU etc.
Forgive me for saying this but Obama is setting himself up to be the first President to be Impeached for purposely weakening the US to terrorist attacks because, mark my words, the more nice he tries to be to these terrorists, the more vigorous they will be to attack us again.

Thank you President sellout. The terrorists have had three victories on day number 1 and 1/2. First Gitmo, then stopping Gitmo trials and now closing these sites. What a friggin joke. This Chicago thug is going to sell us down the river so fast, he may have to really work on his golf game the last 47 months of his first term.
Millions of people could be dead because this twit fooling with our security. Will anyone be alive to point out who dismantled our defense?
From GITMO across the world, the tools being employed to effectively break these animals and glean information from them are being dismantled and the terrorists know it.
They will resupply, they will gather themselves, and then they will hit us hard.

I feel sick after reading this.
Yup. The next time America is attacked, and make no mistake that there will be a next time, all the fingers will be pointing at obama.
Of course some would try to do that, but it wouldn't matter. Obama's public dismantlement of the Bush anti-terror apparatus combined with new terror attack(s) would sink Obama to the bottom.
I'd prefer that his defeat in 2012 not happen that way though.
