(yes, as a matter of fact, i DID only read the excerpt)

The oath is actually meaningless in any legal way. Power transferred with or without an oath

Maybe. I doubt it was a conscious error though

This is just a tad far-fetched, don’cha think?

Roberts has more class than to intentionally pull a dumb trick like that. It was a mistake. Nothing more and nothing less.

You MUST be kidding. That is ridiculous. Thinking that Roberts would stoop to some fraternity prank is an absolute insult to the man.

Yes there probably are serious legitimate questions about the Obomanation being a true “natural born citizen,” but this post is far past “tin-foil hat” nut-case conspiracy theory territory...

Thanks for posting the article.
Interesting theory, but I agree with everyone that has posted so far.
This Glenn Beck is getting a bit imaginative in his ‘detective’ work.
Can’t we forget this ‘osammy boy’?
I mean, how many still remember who the new VP is? (how many libs/dems/etc)
I say the public (and especially the minority here on FR) will be better off once we get back to dealing with the fact that WE are the only ones who will SAVE us.

Power may have transferred in a de facto sense, but constitutionally speaking, he was not president until he recited the oath in full.

The fact that Chief Justice Roberts administered the oath later that day in a manner and form that was correct, falsifies this ridiculous theory.

He had his fingers crossed while administering the oath.

The Chicago Bammer has absolutely no authority over any Supreme Court justice. He’s as powerless as I am.
