ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) - Missiles fired from a suspected U.S. spy plane killed seven people Friday on the Pakistan side of the Afghan border, a lawless region where al-Qaida militants are known to hide out, officials said.
The strike was the first on Pakistani territory since the inauguration of President Barrack Obama.
Pakistani leaders had expressed hope Obama would halt the attacks, more than 30 of which have been launched since the middle of last year, reportedly killing several senior militants.
The pro-U.S. government routinely protests them as a violation of the country's sovereignty, but most observ

I want that sign for my yard to contrast with the Stop the Iraq/Iran war.
so far
LOL
Don’t be fooled by this little escapade. Remember Clinton issued strikes against Yugoslavia when he needed to deter attention from his personal life. Obama is doing the same thing to avoid questions about all the scandalous behavior surround his election.
Stop Jihad Now!
Somebody might show up...
I think it would be a hoot...and a hit!
Murderer! Child Killer!
He is to stupid to figure out what is going on.
Funny how the New York Times travel section's profile of Lahore from 1981 fails to mention the fact that American are banned from travel to the country, (claiming instead that "tourists can obtain a free, 30-day visa (necessary for Americans) at border crossings and airports.")
Must be part of the liberal media conspriacy..
Be careful here, there are too many pot and kettle issues... ;o)
I want investigations. Our allies must think less of us now.
4 days in office, 7 foreigners killed by Obama - what’s that pro-rate to?
According to local people, three missiles hit a guesthouse of Khalil Khan Dawar in Zeraki village in North Waziristan, killing him and eight others on the spot. The compound was completely destroyed.
Khalil Dawar was reported to be associated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan of Baitullah Mehsud.
A security official told Dawn that four Arab militants and another four from Punjab were among the dead.
Soon after the attack at around 5.10pm, Taliban militants surrounded the area and stopped locals from coming near the destroyed compound. They retrieved the bodies of their comrades from the rubble and took them to an unspecified place.Villagers claimed that at least nine bodies had been pulled out of the rubble. They reported hearing the sound of drones before the explosion. In the other attack, two missiles fired by a Predator hit the house of pro-government tribal elder Malik Deen Faraz in Gangikhel area of South Waziristan, killing him, his three sons and a grandson.
Give it some more time. Let's see how long he supports the war against al Qaida. He has only been in office for 3 days.
You said — “That’s just another deception.”
Maybe it’s a deception — but if so — then it’s a deception that is doing *exactly what we want him to do* and so, I’m not sure who he’s deceiving...
If Obama keeps “deceiving” in this manner — it’s not going to be a problem, as far as I’m concerned. He can keep deceiving and bombing al Qaida this way. That’s okay...
And in saying this, all I’m saying is that regardless of the other policies that I don’t support, at least this is one thing that he is still doing the way the Bush Administration is doing. You can separate out the various different kinds of things that the President does and say that although I don’t support these policies over here, the President is doing something right on this policy over in this place.
—
And then you said — “He is a master deceiver and has proved that many times already. Although I admire you for having hope that he is and will continue doing the right thing (per this article), he is only playing his evil game of deception long enough to put in place his REAL plan. That plan is to usher in the Antichrist.”
It may very well be true that many of the things that end up being done, in the name of the U.S. will set the stage for the entrance of the antichrist (along with the many other things in the world, that happen too). But, I do *seriously doubt* that there are any leaders here, in the United States who are *consciously* working for ushering in the antichrist. I say that, because I doubt that many of them believe in the Bible and what its prophecies say and that they even take these prophecies literally (as really happening in fact, and in real-life circumstances) as it does say in the Bible. I think that just about all of them are working on the basis of their own political idealogies, which inadvertently (but, to the plan of God, nonetheless) set up the conditions by which the antichrist does come onto the stage of the world.
Remember, though, God does have His timing for this to happen and it’s going to happen exactly *on time* and *on schedule* no matter what we do. We still do the right thing, individually, but regardless of what we do — God is going to see that the antichrist comes on the scene exactly when he is supposed to be here.
—
And then you said — “Please do not take this personal. You have the right to your opinion. I am only following my belief that we have entered the time that was prophesied in Revelations which is the beginning of the appearance of the Antichrist. Obama is not the Antichrist but will usher him in soon.”
Yes, I believe it’s just prior to the time when the antichrist will be revealed, but there are a few more things that need to happen in the world, before that comes about, as I see it. And, at the same time, I do not believe that I or other Christians (who are of Christ) will see the antichrist — because, as I see it — the *one major factor* for the antichrist’s *ability* to take control over the entire world — is *only* from the removal of millions of Christians from the world, in the Rapture. Without their removal and without them being taken out of the way, there would be too much resistance for him to take over. I don’t expect to see him, here on earth.
—
And then, finally you said — “Give it some more time. Let’s see how long he supports the war against al Qaida. He has only been in office for 3 days.”
Yeah, I know that. I only take this as one event at a time. When one thing happens that is okay — then that’s what it is. When that changes and it works the other way, a wrong way, then I and others can speak out against it at that time. I really don’t think that Obama wants to be known as the President who allowed the terrorists to set up and carry out a massive attack on the United States — during his term in office. We *do know* that George Bush’s actions (and in many ways that we may never know) enabled the United States to remain free from further terror attacks (and also with the blessing of God, too). So, I’m kinda thinking that with that being the case (and the knowledge of the people) that Obama is *not* going to want to be known as the President who “let down his guard” and allowed the United States to be attacked massively (as all our leaders *say* is *absolutely and without a doubt* going to happen; it’s only a matter of “when” and not “if”).
You said — “He is to stupid to figure out what is going on.”
Well..., thank goodness we do have other people to tell him what is going on, then... :-)
