It's power generation plants we need - NOT POWER LINES.

This boondoggle is about awarding very big contracts to big donors to Democrats.

There is no way on Earth to build 3,000 miles of power lines within three years. It won't happen.

Breeder reactors are a source of safe (for the most part) renewable energy for power generation.

Damn Straight! You probably can't get the DESIGN done in three years. Then you'll be fighting the environmentalists for at least a decade. Then another few years for construction. Realistically, you're looking at 15 to 20 years in today's business, environmental and regulatory climate. This country has completely lost the "can do" spirit that once made us great.

Actually, if you look at all the capacity additions to the transmission system already under way, I would say that it's not too far off from 3000 miles. That's only 100 projects of 30 miles each, or two projects per state.
