RE :”When we were under capitalism everything was more fun”

When we had republicans that represent us and not just more welfare.

why? because the MSM believes that what comes from the radio/tv/movies/newspapers/magazines is where you GET your opinion... not a reflection OF your opinion. that’s the critical difference

and to a certain extent they are correct. the media does sway some people... but those people usually vote democrat/liberal as the media’s impact far out does anything coming from the right.

Rush's greatest contribution was in his early days when he took far more calls and he was the only conservative voice nationally. A conservative could go weeks without having someone nod in agreement. I'm sure many became convinced they must be insane as no one else seemed to share their ideas. Then Rush came, giving voice to folks from Kalispel, Pensacola, Syracuse, Grand Rapids and points in between.

Soon conservatives knew they were not alone and isolated. They heard their own voices arise from all over America. Rush was the switchboard of the conservative rebirth during Clinton. That was his greatest gift. If he can recall those days and use his power to give voice to the People once again he will be truly dangerous to the Left.

I agree. I wish he would take more calls and more off beat items interspersed throughout his show.

Those were really fun days, Rush had a TV show, he was the only one playing democrats and making fun of them. He hadn't compromised himself with a republican president and congress, the worse dynamics for his show. 1993-1994 was his golden opportunity and he was brilliant and made being in the minority a blast!

Airyheaded Huffington doesn’t belong in this article.

Rolodex journalism. She's probably the first American 'journalist' to take the call from London.

Now if a conservative media outlet labeled someone “the most dangerous man in America”, the libs would be screaming that such a characterization was a covert call for violence to stop this “dangerous person”. Try calling Obama the most dangerous man in America and see what pops out of the woodwork.

The question I’m asking: ‘Is Obama baiting Rush to come out strongly against his administration so he can build a coalition to implement the Fairness Doctrine V2?’

Rush has already stated that Obama is employing Rule 13 of Alinsky’s RULES FOR RADICALS (which is brilliant of Rush to point out) by making him the target/focus of the news.

Rush has turned in to nothing more than an inside the beltway media hack.

Let’s hear him say anything negitive about his friend George bush and how Bush sold us down the road with the bailout mess. No instead I heard him say Obama nationalized the banks and insurance industry when we all know it was his friend GWB.

And not a word about COLB.

I listened for over 18 years, and tired of his covering for Bush. Just a couple of days ago he blamed the nationalizions on Obama when we all know it was BUSH.

And still not a word from him on the Birth cert issue, or did I miss that 1 minute too?

Realize that the article is written from the UK Sharia point of view.

No, the housing crisis, which fired off the credit crisis, started with the Clinton administration and continued with congress requiring banks and mortgage companies to lend to people who really couldn't the loans.

Where have you been the past 5 months?

He could technically be considered a demagogue despite not being a pol, but the plain fact is that he isn’t one. Because demagogues appeal to emotion, and Rush tries to make people think about problems logically. Demagogues don’t have to be politicians. Father Coughlin from the 1930’s had a huge radio audience. And he was a demagogue but not a politician. He was a also huge anti-Semite. Anyone can be a demagogue. You just have to have a big enough audience.

While you what write is completly correct I did in fact hear Rush on Thursday or Friday blame the nationalizations of the banks on Obama.

Bush pushed it all through, Bush is Rush’s friend, he will not tell the truth on Bush.

Thanks for posting the article.

They hate ElRushbo because he is a conservative. Rush said one time on his show that if he is not making the left mad at him he is not doing his job. He is an awesome person.
