Iraq said Thursday it will bar Blackwater Worldwide from providing security protection for U.S. diplomats because its contractors used excessive force, sanctioning a company whose image was irrevocably tarnished by the 2007 killings of 17 Iraqi civilians. The move will deprive American diplomats of their main protection force in Iraq. The decision not to issue Blackwater an operating license was due to "improper conduct and excessive use of force," ...

Well - the insurgents wanted to go after the one entity that o\no one cared about- PSD...now they have won!

Without civilian PSD to guard the diplomats - the Dos Reconstruction mission will fail - eventually pull out - and there will be no need for the US military or Coalition to be there...

Next - Ladies and Gentlemen will be the all-for-nothing internal civil war that will erupt to see who becomes the next Saddam...

What a waste...can't people see through these corrupt Sunni/Shia politicians....

Nope. Look at the twits who voted for the Obamination. Blackwater was effective so communists would want them removed. They got their way and now, our State Department folks are fair game. Hey, who will guard Hitleray if she goes to Iraq?

Unless TC can come up with air assets, It’ll be tough for them to get the contract.

I will agree with that...

The Sunnis in Iraq had a few choices of either submitting to their foreign Al-Q types or joining us (arms, training, funding) and beating back AL-Q in Iraq and re-gaining control of their towns and cities...

What the hell were we thinking...they are not our brothers in arms and they care nothing for Western democracy...

Exactly - the hidden face of the surge...the consequence of that was when the Shia moved in during the Sunni exodus and strengthened their position in Sadr city and unleashed a month worth of mortar and rocket attacks...

Next will be Aegis and Dyn Corps — so don’t think BW is the only game in town that will be targeted -— they are however professional soldiers and former law enforcement with honorable discharges from the US military - so mercenaries they are not...

Other PSC’s will be targeted - BW was the biggest game in town with the most assets...it will all come down this year...the new DOS Sec and POTUS will do nothing but muck it up as usual...

Kind of late to come to this conclusion as 4,000 US soldiers have been sacrified to supposely “save their ass from a dictator”!
