John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel says global warming is a “hoax” and “bad science” and that Al Gore refuses to admit his cause is based on bad research.
“I am totally convinced there is no scientific basis for any of it,” Coleman said. “Global Warming. It is the hoax. It is bad science. It is a high-jacking of public policy. It is no joke. It is the greatest scam in history.” ...

But this isn't a funny issue. However, I believe people are waking up to the fact that there are no facts that suggest we are changing the climate. I think a recent poll showed something like 50% or so of Americans do not believe it. Anyone have the pool numbers?
I remember watching John Coleman way, way back on a local news show in San Diego doing the weather!
Seems a bit curious, considering how much “global warming” fear-mongering is broadcast daily on that channel.

Chances are, the “founder” is no longer running things. Founders often get eased out.
He is the founder, but I believe he sold it years ago and is no longer affiliated with it.
I have NEVER trusted Algore on ANYTHING. BTW, I think Coleman founded the Weather Channel, but I think he was either bought out, pushed aside, or both, so it might be unfair to hang the Weather Channel's global warming crap on John.

Nobel Peace Prize ... think what this will do to the [fragile] credibility of the Peace Prize when people finally figure out this is a hoax? How many times can they discredit themselves and still be something considered important each year ... (Carter, Araphat, .... Gore ... oh me).

I remember when Coleman departed WLS (aka WBKB) TV (Channel 7) in Chicago to start a new venture, an all the time tv channel devoted to weather. As it got successful either he sold it or got “leveraged out” by his financial backers—I don’t remember exactly.
The liberals trying to scam the public with the global warming lie must be getting nervous. LOL!
What was worse was they passed over what was probably the last opportunity (because of her age) to bestow that prize on a aging woman who helped countless numbers of Jews escape death in Nazi Germany. Remarkable story behind that to. Can’t remember her name now though but a search should turn it up because there were several people that thought it was bogus when they did it and some stories on it did come to light.
Instead - they give it to that fat idiot for helping to perpetrate what is ever more rapidly being viewed as a hoax on the world public.

I remember watching him when he was doing the weather back in Chicago when I was a kid. His weather forecasts were always entertaining.
