George Obama, half-brother of President Barack Obama, has been arrested and charged him with marijuana possession.
This is the same half-brother who several months ago was found to be living in a small shack in the slums of Nairobi. At the time, he said his annual income was less than $20.
The officer in charge of the investigation said Obama was arrested on charges of possession of cannabis (or “bhang” as its known in Kenya) and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to arraigned on Monday.

LOL Slomark is a great name.
I have a hard time focusing on family of politicians - especially when they are in another country, not in much contact and a very minor charge.
I know one of Jeb Bush’s daughters got charged with something - I really just viewed it a family matter.
The Mother of Sarah Palin’s Daughters boyfriend got more MSM attention for a drug arrest then Obamas brother.
The thing that interests me about this story is the fact that he got arrested for it at all. It’s just kind of hard for me to believe police were roaming the shantytown busting people for possesion.
I remember Billy Carter peeing on the tarmac after drinking a few hundred beers, raising hell in bars and in the WH. MSM did specials on how “these poor victims of alcohol” can get help. “Every family has a black sheep”. “Jimmy tries to help his brother”. “Jimmy is his brothers keeper”. blah, blah, blah...
The Roper Doper! Smoking rope in Kenya, good stuff there, so I have heard. Wonder if it makes O feem a little? Hard to do that stuff in the White House? Maybe not, look what Slick Willie accomplished. But did he inhale?

Arrested where? To be arraigned where? Who was the ‘officer in charge?’

That does seem odd...
Wasn’t this the brother that people were sending donations to when they found that he was living on $1 (one dollar) per month? ... and then he uses it for dope? ...
Those Obamas sure know how to get more bhang for the buck.
If you lived in that corrugated tin and cardboard hut, you might like a joint sometimes too. Very little a guy there can do to make his life better in a culture like that.
Although it can be smoked, bhang is usually consummed as a drink flavored with spices. Its very popular ‘over there’. Its used by many folk during certain Spring festivals.
