I think people voted for him knowing full well he wasn’t prepared for the job but figured he had advisors who would help him along until he found his sea legs.

I hope anyone audited remembers to say like Daschle they simply made a mistake—that should get a laugh at the IRS.
I read a letter to the editor of the local paper that said just that. The guy said he wanted change but not for the worse. LOL
OK, he made a mistake. That means he is stupid, doesn’t understand the tax laws, and doesn’t read what he signs.
Therefore, he is qualified to be Secretary of the Treasury?
“Mistakes” are the only honest thing that they are capable to do...
