I hate these generalizations. Why don't they ask me what I think of him? I think he's a douche bag. Does that make him "popular, with broad support from the American people"? Why don't they generalize on the basis of that comment?
Because nobody in the media has ever heard anybody make such a remark.
All their friends, everybody they know, believes as they do: that Obama is the cat's pajamas and everybody loves him.

Sooner or later, the media slobberfest is going to bring about a backlash from the public. The longer the press takes to figure that out, the worse it will be for them. The thing to worry about is opposition Republicans being ignored or even silenced.

Well, it was enough for me to look up to see where it came from. McClatchy. Then I had to see how the author justified the his slobber.
Maybe I'm getting old and my memory's failing me, but I don't recall any Bush appointees being found guilty of cheating on their income taxes during his 8-year tenure in office. Obama has three tax cheats in just his first two weeks. Funny ethics, those.
