Actually it's no longer a question of IF; it's when. And it's probably more along the lines of "If we have to take the hit, let it fall there" ....
Nobody WANTS a bunch of Americans to die ... oh wait. Except for the guy whose charges were just dropped at the order of the President; he wants us to die. Same with the Gitmo boyz; they want us to die.
Exactly. If we’re going to take a hit, might as well take it where it will do the most good and least damage.
For example, if aliens came by and said “The bad news is that we have to hit your country with a 5 megaton nuclear weapon. The good news is you get to pick where,” the correct answer is “Please detonate it out in the middle of the desert in New Mexico, we even have a nice marker for you to use as a target.”
