You’re probably right, but you’d have to admit this was disastrously handled from a PR point of view. Somebody in D.C. either has an incredible political tin ear or they’re actively undercutting Obama. Bad timing, badly released, badly handled.
It does seem that the Boy President version 2 has had a spate of sloppy luck, eh?
Obama's had a bad week. The Iranian's turned him down on his offer of a Ping-Pong tournement! Daschel was sacked before he was voted on. Another appointee had tax problems - withdrew. The Congress Republicans ALL voted No on stimulus.
The guys got to be feeling the heat - and now this. The time to push is when he's unstable. Who - Hillary? It's hard to figure. If it keeps up - then we will know somethings at work.
My guess is its just startup jitters....we'll see if he knows how to manage anything real soon.
Agreed. Regardless of the procedural processes, this looks as bad as the Pope's recent harebrained decision to not excommunicate that renegade holocaust-denying bishop.
The Pope is being verbally brutalized if not asked to resign, and the bishop never actually masterminded anyone's murders. The fit is about to hit the shan, and even George Snuffalopagus won't be able to save Obambi from looking like the weak-kneed beginner that he is. Major popcorn time.
Adding to your posit, how far down the line of presidential succession is the Secretary of State? I mean, most of the folks in the Obamanistration are from her (husband's) administration anyway
