They are trying. They also have a raw sence of humor.

“Maybe the people should take back their own neighborhood and stop blaming the police.”

I would agree, except that as soon as the people take any such action, the police will swoop in like flying monkeys to carry them off to jail.

Police today might be afraid to bust crack dealers, but they’re not afraid of citizens.

By the way, I’m a strong supporter of the police, when they do their job.

Lots of meth in this valley, but the emphasis is on seat belts and aggressive drivers.

In York it must be a crime to embarrass the police.

Sting must be happy.

That’s because the fines are revenue, police are revenue generators. Generally seat belt fines and aggressive drivers are not armed to the teeth high on crack thinking they are invincible and ready to gun down the cops.

York police want to speak with the resident who posted a sign on his home commenting on drug activity in the area.

York police want to try to get a resident to incriminate himself on some completely unrelated matter.

York is very “diverse” city, much more like Philadelphia in that respect than the rural areas you’re thinking of.

Maybe the cops should devote more attention to drug dealers than to sign posters. But like another poster said, there’s no money in that. Cops are told to bring in revenue.

Yeah, I know that, and...how should I put this? It makes me just the teeny-tiniest bit displeased. If you know what I mean.

Interesting they want to talk to the person who wrote the sign but not the crack dealers.

I wonder is the local SWAT team will conduct the conversation in the middle of the night with a no-knock warrant?

Hope he or she doesn't have a dog.

York is not Amish Country. York is Baltimore North.
