Where in the directive does it specify that the refugees would be allowed into the US?
I ask this, not because I doubt Obama's intentions to do just that, but because I would like to have some kind of evidence to that effect, so that I can cite this when reminding Obama voters that they screwed up big time by voting for this guy.
I noticed the links weren’t working as well.
This one works. Or it just did for me I opened it in a new window... let me know if that works or not, it should.

Thanks, going to check it out now.

“I think Bush kind of did the same thing.”
I recall the Bush XO on this matter, but as a procedural event for the distribution of monies, whereas seems Obama’s intent is not only to distribute funding, but to bring over here the Jihadist sorts as his XO includes cc: Dept. of Population that Bush’s did not. I could be wrong, but as this fellow Obama has shown us, his loyalties are questionable.
Until I see some display of commonsense from the guy, I’ll be looking at everything he does with the “jaundiced eye”.
re “existing fund”. See post #5. And go insult THAT poster, “idiot.”
This directive does not allow immigration of Palestinians. It refers to sending aid to Palestinians in refugee camps.
A lot of them live in camps already.
later
Why the reference to "migration" then? That's in the XO not just in the title of the section of the law that is being used or of the state department office the funds will flow through.
The “migration” refers to the movement of people out of the area of fighting or destruction into refugee areas. Not “immigration.”
Here’s a link to the same order signed by Bush in 2005.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/2852301/Administrative-Order-Migration-and-Refugee-Assistance-Act-of-1962-availability-of-funds-Presidential-Determination-No-200523-of-April-29-2005
It also refers to repatriation of people back TO a place they came From. They fled the area to camps, then had to be taken back and fed till they could get there.
Thats what that says to me. The Violence in Gaza was largely Hamas taking over the area. If I am remembering correctly, that was the time of the Lebanon war...
Thanks for the link!
Well, whether it’s migration to a refugee canp or back to their old neighborhood, it’s not to the United States.
Hamas has been running Gaza since they won the general elections of Jan. 2006. Here’s an informative link:

No, because that's not what it does. If it hits the media at all, it will be in the context of right wing nuts distorting the governments humanitarian efforts to provide food and medicine to those suffering in Gaza.
You know they’re changing the name of the San Andreas Fault to “Bush’s Fault”.
Because apparently everything is:
Including a Democratic Iraq, but what the hey, they’ll ignore that. The Libs aren’t really big fans of democracy.
