As a gratuitous (that means ‘unnecessary and uncalled for’, in case you wondered) aside, I might note that what is happening in CA was not unforeseen, certainly not by those of us who saw it coming and fled, with our children and chattels, for our lives. We were proved prescient and we told those who remained what was coming. This was AFTER Gov Schwartzeneggar was elected, by the way. He is not the mover in this, he is unable to prevent the Democrats doing politically what their allies and adherents want: loot the treasury and squirrel away the proceeds. He sometimes can stem the tide.

What we are seeing is what it looks like when an entire gang of gypsies, tramps and thieves gets handed the entire battleship, anchor included. They only look like they aren’t staggering under the weight yet.

If you live there and don’t like what you see, get out now.

I've proposed a similar solution, but I want them dropped off unannounced at Tierra Del Fuego...it's a MUCH longer walk!
