SNIPPET: "Two of Congress's most radical members believe George W. Bush's America was the equal of apartheid South Africa.
Last week, Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy proposed that Congress establish a truth commission to investigate alleged Bush misdeeds. In the House, Judiciary committee chairman John Conyers seconded Leahy's request."
SNIPPET: "If the investigation exposes the ongoing, covert measures Bush has taken to keep America safe, Leahy will only smile as they are revealed. He has a long history of exposing the most vital secrets of our nation. At least one operative was murdered after Leahy publicly leaked a 1985 intercept that had enabled the capture of the Achille Lauro terrorists. After Leahy leaked a 1986 covert operation to topple Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddhafi, it was necessarily canceled. And Leahy argued that 270 victims of Libya's Pan Am 103 bombing over Lockerbie Scotland, might still be alive. Finally, in January 1987, Leahy was forced to resign as vice-chair of the Senate's Select Committee on Intelligence after leaking classified information on the Iran-Contra affair. It is perhaps not surprising that, after 9/11, the FBI investigated national security leaks from Congress, specifically House and Senate Select Intelligence committee leaks.
In the 14 years since he resigned from the intelligence committee in disgrace, the Vermont senator has held up key intelligence in the War on Terror."

The word traitor tends to be thrown around a bit too easily on FR sometimes. For Leahey, it fits to a T.
Agreed, with a capital A. not only a traitor, but a subversive to make statements such as “the equal of apartheid South Africa”. While the senator may be trying to make points with Zero by rehashing some of Zero’s own comments from his Columbia demonstration days, someone needs to remind the Vermont idgit and Zero that the end result of anti-apartheid in Africa was mass murders, fragmentation of countries into warlord regions, the death of any semblance of agriculture and productivity, and the advent of the current 3-world starving-nation status of most of Africa led by the likes of Odinga and Mugabe. imo jmo moo
This will wnd up being a very good thing for America and republicans. First we will see just how base the socialists are, and second RINO’s will/may learn that there is nothing they can do to please the socialists except to change to the democrat party and be a total socialist.
Because most know Bush finished his office on the extreme left, but because he’s an R they hate him.
As far as I’m concerned, Bush is on his own. He lost me when he destroyed the Republican Party, the conservative message, the country.
Anything the libs want to prosecute him for, I say, help yourself. Not one e-mail in support of that traitor.
Leahy knows nothing is going to happen. His fellow democrats don’t want to open that door because once it’s open, it can’t be closed. Nothing but manna for the mind numbed masses.
Much like all the endless calls to impeach Bush. Nancy Pelosi happily let them swirl but as soon as they had the actual power to impeach she said no.
Senator Leahy under Obama’s new health care; there’s only
one thing left for you to do!
When do we get “Truth Commissions” for Conyers and Leahy?
Their records both deserve a thorough investigation and plenty of publicity.
Two of Congress’s most radical members say no more.
When the time comes to line the traitors against the wall, Leahy should be one of the first.
I have a better idea: When Obammunism and the global media-left collapse (as they inevitably must), we should form a Nuremberg style tribunal to try the leakers and traitors, their propaganda shills, the genocidal leadership of the so-called environmental movement, and the peace hypocrites and NGOs who have done so much to encourage and facilitate terrorism and lib-fascist rule.
yes - race relations were so good, in order to reassert their power and justify the ‘wealth redistribution’, they are now creating an apartheid where there really was none before
