"That chimp had man boobs."The fact you made that observation puts your sanity into question.

I'm certainly no expert on Chimps or on animal behavior. However from TV shows I seen it's apparent that a 200 lb Chimp is much stronger than any 200 lb man. With that type of power this animal is incredibly dangerous. All the animal experts I've seen on TV say that a Chimp is a terrible animal to have as a pet and should only be owned in secure facilities by real experts, zoos and the like. I cannot believe she owned a 200 lb chimp.
She should have been like me and got a 75 lb Labrador Retriever. Very reliable, very safe-with lots of affection.

If it requires that all the lower primates in Congress resign immediately, then I’m all for it.

Didn’t Spain on some other European give human rights to these animals? If that’s the case it sounds like the chimp went crazy in the wrong country, he could have claimed his rights were violated before being shot.

No doubt this Congress will declare “personhood” for chimps, and make it illegal for the cops to shoot them.

If it requires that all the lower primates in Congress resign immediately, then I’m all for it. But it would still allow the rodents to stay indefinitely.

IIRC we now have about 150 there,,,
All it will take is one small tornado and a few trees down,
(Broken walls/etc.),,,
And the whole mess of them will run loose in that area,,,
POS~RINO Congressman Jim McCrery(no longer in office)helped
Jam this through as well as the PETA types,,,
Bumper stickers showed-up as soon as it opened :
“Louisiana Monkey Hunter.”...

Years ago on a hunting lease in south Texas one of our family saw a chimp that had escaped from a testing lab, there was probably more than one. I never thought at the time how dangerous they could be.

This story is really getting bizarre, but at least it’s taking the octuplets mom off the radar screen. I was sick of hearing them harp on her for weeks! This story has replaced that one, at least for now.
I mean, come on, right now as I type this Drudge has TWO pictures of Travis on his page! LOL!

We all have to learn our lessons in this life to stay alive.
I learned about “monkeys” etc. back in ‘67 when some
jackass had a “Rock Ape”(10-15lbs) as a “pet”,,,
Grabbed MY last pack of dry smokes,,,
I grabbed them back,,,
Lil’Basturd Bit Me!!!(still got the scar),,,
I punched him in the nose(bloody nose)knocked him off me,,,
Came up with my Kabar ,,,jackass and monkey bugged out,,,
Two weeks later “somebody” shot that damn monkey,,,
“Somebody” also showed the jackass a frag,,,
“Don't bring another one here.”...

When my husband was in college and before I knew him, he bought a pet monkey. He took it home and the nasty little creature climbed his moms bedroom drapes and pooped on them. Monkey had to find a new home and my husband hasn’t had a hankering for a pet monkey since.

Thebedeaux & Boudereaux are not known for being PETA freaks, IIRC.
Mr. Monkey might have a close encounter of the “specieism” kind.
The pre-op pictures of the chimp victim face and hands should prove most enlightening.
