It's all pretty typical - protect the guilty while instilling a victim mentality and dependence on others for help (e.g. Government). There are effective ways of dealing with bullies without physical violence - wearing pink is not on that list.

I told my kids to punch back regardless of the stupid rules. Even told that to the Asst. Principal when my daughter got in trouble for fighting back and beating the sam-hell out of a dyke bully. He said he agreed with me and lessened her punishment. Good thing we were both around the same age and both conservative.
