An unannounced visit to the state Capitol by former Republican Rep. J.C. Watts has lawmakers talking about the possibility he could be setting the stage to run for governor.
Watts, who came to the Capitol Monday, surprised a delegation of the Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce last week by saying he is considering the race and will make a decision in 45 days.

Personally, I think I might prefer Ms. Fallon but I could live with Mr. Watts.

Watts is a dumb jock who drank the Obama kool aid in 2008. No thanks.

Would either support (ENFORCE) your state sovereignty resolution if push-came-to-shove?

I would absolutely love to see J.C. Watts back in political life, starting with Governor then perhaps Senator or VP!

In all fairness to J.C., he didn't say he supported Obama. He said he was "considering" voting for him (not sure if he actually went through with it). Of course the reasons he gave for "considering" Obama were inexcusable -- basically that he disagreed with Obama on every issue but he would have a hard time voting against him because he wanted to see a fellow black man elected President.
Seems like J.C. has some splainin' to do.

No thanks. He’s an Obama supporter... he needs to run on the Traitor Party ticket.

If you heard him endorse NObama then you’ve heard more than I have. The only time I heard him personally speak on the subject was on Hannity and that was seriously not an endorsement. Like I said, maybe you heard him say different.

That’s what I was referring to.

Why not. Like to see JC get back in the game.
I know, he weaselled on Obama for racial reasons, but now that Bambo is destroying America brick by brick, maybe he's got a new idea.

Aw man, did JC really endorse or praise Obama? Back in the day, I always thought he was a stalwart conservative and rising star.
To: hinckley buzzard
Whomever most closely follows the Constitution is the right candidate, regardless of skin color or gender.
I like JC Watts (he seems personable), but doubt he’d be the best guy for the job.

What's to s'plain? He thought he might vote for the black guy. Take it or leave it, but the man is entitled to be judged on the totality of his public record. For blacks, this was a once in a lifetime event. Deal with it. I didn't vote for the chickensh*t, but then I'm not black.

Heard it with my own two ears. I was so disappointed. Not surprised though.

Fair enough, but like I said, this thing with Obama was a one-of-a-kind deal for blacks. I can live with it if he is still basically conservative, which I assume he is. Anyway, your mileage may differ.
To: YankeeinOkieville
No thanks, JC. Take it somewhere else....
