He talks for hours every day. He gets paid to talk. Just talk. Doing it well is no small thing; witness the number of people who have tried to be him, or be the NOT-him, and failed. But he doesn't have to build a coalition. He doesn't need the votes of the other side to earn his check. He doesn't have to write the legislation, convince Olympia Snowe, raise money to keep the lights on, put his name on the ballot. All the things he doesn't have to do give him the freedom to be as effective as he is at what he does.
Trying to beat him at his own game when your own game is played by a different set of rules is a losing proposition. He knows that.

I am loving all this!! Limbaugh is the sh%t! Susan is a freak but she is no dummy. The Democraps should listen to her on this one (fortunately for us we know they won’t) ;-)
I think Susan’s fear is that he focuses on things that resonate. If he brings attention to that most egrecious attacks on the economy, he threatens to defeat the new guy’s agenda. If he loses one battle, all are then vulnerable. Can’t have that. Especially since Rush can’t be labeled as “bigoted.”
Rush’s accuracy rating is now at 99.5% of the time. The highest since stats have been kept back in the Sacto days.
Anyone who says Rush has no talent should read this line again and again. The most brilliant minds in the nation follow his lead, a guy that never graduated college.
My respect for Susan has gone up. I frankly didn’t expect this type of analysis from a ‘feminazi’. Perhaps, age does help even liberals become more wise.
